Juan Manuel Magadan
Juan M. Magadán is a Tax Director with PwC Argentina, focused on International Tax Services and Tax Structuring matters. He has more than 15 years of experience as an advisor of
multinational companies of a wide range of industries (banking and private investments, industrial and commercial). He has vast experience serving companies in the Energy O&G ––&
Utilities sector where he has been recently supporting acquisitions and inbound investments projects connected with the RenovAr projects tender.
He also has expertise in advising companies in Public Private Partnership projects for the construction of roads.
Juan is a Certified Public Accountant, graduated at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He joined the Tax Department of the firm in 2002 and in 2008 he was assigned to a tour of duty of two years with the Latin American Tax Team of PwC in New York, where he worked
extensively in the area of cross border transactions.
Juan actively participates as expositor in local and international tax symposiums conducted by PwC related to his fields of expertise, including the Latin American Tax Symposiums regularly
organized by PwC He also participates as expositor at seminars organized by the CPA Council of the City of Buenos Aires, the Argentine Banking Association and Forum.
He is frequent contributor to several international and local tax publications and newspapers, and has also authored and co authored several papers regarding tax matters.
