Daniel Pablo Dreizzen
Daniel is an Industrial Engineer graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires and holds a Master´s degree in Finance from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Between 2004 and 2014, he taught as Assistant Professor for Economic Engineering Course at the School of Engineering of Universidad de Buenos Aires.
He has gained 12 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry at Pluspetrol Company in different positions in the areas of Corporate Planning- Finance and Business Development. In 2015 he coordinated the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Energy Group in “Fundación Pensar” think tank.
During 2016 and 2017, in the public sector, he served as Strategic Development Manager at the National Highway Administration of Argentina (Ministry of Transport), where he carried out a comprehensive process reengineering project and launched the first six PPP (Public- Private Partnership Projects) in Argentina, which attracted investments for 6 billion dollars.
In June 2018, he was appointed Secretary of Energy Planning of the Ministry of Energy of Argentina where he designed a new energy plan focused on unconventional resources and renewable energy and coordinated the Table of Vaca Muerta to identify and solve the problems to untap the full potential of this formation. Since June 2019, he is consultant at Practia Technology and Business where he serves different energy companies.
