Agustín Siboldi is a partner in Estudio O´Farrell’s Public Law and Economic Regulation Department. He joined the firm in 1998 and is a Partner since 2007.
Siboldi practice focuses on the following areas related with the economic regulation: antitrust law, either economic concentrations as well as the investigation of anticompetitive practices; telecommunication; hydrocarbons exploration, concession, exploitation, and distribution; gas generation, transport, distribution and commercialization; pharmaceutical products marketing; as well as other sector of the economy with a strong regulatory importance.
In Estudio O´Farrell he leads the energy areas of practice with Uriel O´Farrell and Agustina Fanelli Evans. They advise on regulatory, contractual and litigious affairs regarding oil and gas production, power generation, natural gas and electricity transportation and distribution, as well as concession agreements breached in 2002 which led to judicial proceedings against the National State.
Agustin Siboldi is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of C.A.D.E.R. (Argentinean Renewable Energy Chamber), and is an active member of IAPG (the Argentine Institute of Oil & Gas) and IAE “Mosconi” (Argentine Institute of Energy). He represents our firm in the following Chambers of Commerce: Brazil, México and Canada.
He has a law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, School of Law and a Master´s Degree in Business Law from the Escuela Superior de Economía y Administración de Empresas (ESEADE).
Siboldi is a professor of Economic Regulation at ESEADE. He is author of an important number of publications in his fields of practice and co- author of a renewable energy law draft jointly with the Instituto Argentina de la Energía General Mosconi.
He has been ranked by several international publications such as Latin Lawyer, Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, Best Lawyers, and Leaders League among others.
